The year we met
“Our first picture together taken at stony creek brewery, same spot as our first date one month prior!” -Jenn
“1st of many ski trip with friends, Bennett fit in with my group of friends right from the start.” -Jenn
“The pandemic changed our lives in a big way and only 6 months after meeting. I felt so isolated because of my work and separated from my family, I was so grateful for Bennett’s friendship that year.” -Jenn
“During this time we developed a love for gardening, where Ben builds my boxes and shovels dirt and I grow fruits and veggies!” -Jenn
“I have so many good memories biking with Bennett, but during that year it was like the only thing we could do together, ahhh pandemic dating life” -Jenn
“This was out first camping trip together with friends. Our best bonding times have been during adventuring outdoors.” -Bennett
Once the world opened up again…we got moving!
“Our first big adventure in Utah really showed how well we get on together.” -Bennett
Camping in Acadia ME “National Parks quickly became our favorite places to get lost outdoors.” -Bennett
Ski trip in Whistler CA. “This was my first time skiing BIG mountains and I had so much fun with Bennett on this trip!” -Jenn
Our 1st and only backpacking trip as a couple. “Probably the worst night of my life” -Jolene
Yosemite NP “I have loved sharing Ca’s NPs and beaches with Bennett, it’s so much fun showing him the places I grew up visiting.” -Jenn
“Jenn showed me Yosemite and we've been back 3 times now. I've loved getting to know her family and her home state.” -Bennett
Washington state for hiking and river floating. “The Icicle River really earned its name that day! Great time cooling off after a hike!” -Bennett

In March 2024, we took a trip to Colorado
“I was so excited and nervous to propose!” -Bennett
“I planned a trip to ski in Colorado with a few friends, I had no clue about what was coming.” -Jenn
“Jenn didn’t suspect a thing - even saying ‘Gee, I wonder if he'll ever do it’ to our friends on the drive to the mountain!!” -Bennett
Standing outside the lodge waiting to have our picture taken, Bennett turned to me and said ‘Jenn it’s happening!’ I responded ‘what’s happening?’” -Jenn
“I had a speech planned and when the time came, I blanked, dropped to my knee and pulled out the ring.” -Bennett
A few months later we got the families together to celebrate with a FACE cake!
“We tentatively asked our families, ‘what would you think if we got married in Banff??’ Flash forward to now, we’ve checked out the venue and scouted some cool trails and activities to do as a group”- Jenn
“And start the next part of this adventure! Which means having you join us on this trip to celebrate our love!” -Bennett
